Ghent, June 6, 2008. Vandycke & Partners and its sister company Mediconsult, successfully participated in the fourth edition of Knowledge for Growth on Friday June 6th in Flanders Expo in Ghent. Knowledge for Growth is Flanders’ annual biotech convention, a comprehensive partnering event for all biotech actors. Knowledge for Growth is organized by FlandersBio, the organization representing the Flemish life sciences companies.

Knowledge for Growth offered a unique opportunity to get an in-depth overview of biotechnology in Flanders and to initiate collaborations.
This year’s conference featured presentations in the fields of science, technology as well as management. With some 35 presentations and up to 70 posters, Knowledge for Growth offered a unique opportunity to get an in-depth overview of biotechnology in Flanders and to initiate collaborations.
Special attention in the 2008 programme was given to Translational Biotechnology, referring to the development and application of new technologies in a customer or patient driven environment - where the emphasis is on early testing and evaluation.

Knowledge for Growth also allowed biotech companies, vendors and service providers to showcase their technologies, products and services to an international audience. Vandycke & Partners and Mediconsult took this opportunity gratefully in order to network with the acquainted players in the field and to introduce itself to interesting new business partners.
